Members of the Good Samaritan Home Auxiliary provide more than 10,000 hours each year of volunteer services to the residents of the Home. These men and women give tirelessly of themselves assisting the residents with some of their needs as well as helping with many of the activities at Good Samaritan.

Our Good Sam Volunteers are involved with:

• Weekly coffee Hour
• Bingo
• Dining room decoration-place cards and table centerpieces
• Personal mending of residents clothing
• Music therapy
• Reading to the residents
• Assisting beautician in the Beauty Shop
• Assisting employees at special events....Fall Festival trip, Thanksgiving dinner, Spring picnic, etc.
• Sanitizing dining room tables
• Serve residents their noon meal and make sure they have a cloth napkin, etc.

Membership is open to all men and women willing to support the purpose of the Auxiliary. You are invited to join and help bring joy and meaning to the lives of the residents here at Good Sam. Membership is $10.00 per year or $100.00 for Life Membership.

The volunteers work Monday through Friday from 8:00a.m. - ?. Set your own time you are available to work. You can work as many or as few hours as you choose. WE WANT YOU! Come see us soon!!!! Phone 812.476.4912 for more information.
