Recreational Therapy
The Recreational Therapy Department of The Good Samaritan Home
helps residents maintain their physical and mental needs while
assisting with personal growth and development. Motor skills
are addressed through daily exercise programs designed to serve the
abilities of individual residents.
The socialization and cultural needs of residents are met through
van trips to areas of local interest, shopping trips around the
community and attendance at concerts or other special events. Other activities include music therapy, exercise programs, crafts,
and games.
